Japanese astronaut plays baseball with himself in space

 

47-year old Satoshi Furukawa, an astronaut spending 6 months on the International Space Station, decided to kill some time by throwing a baseball to himself and hitting it, utilizing the zero-gravity qualities of space.

In the video below, watch him lob the ball forward, then lunge ahead of it, grasping a bat and smacking the ball. It’s pretty cool, and makes us all envious of the things you can do with zero gravity.
