In the picture above, “Matsu Tree”, is an old pine tree that looks just like a dragon. The tree is in Miyagi prefecture, one of the worst-hit regions by the tsunami.
Now that it is the year of the Dragon, the Matsu Tree has become a symbol of recovery for the city.
