Noodol Café in Akihabara

Nope, that’s not a typo. A place called the Noodol Café recently opened in Akihabara, and if you guessed that it has something to do with idols and maid cafés, you’re spot on.

At the Noodol Café, customers get to talk to their choice of soon-to-be idols from Platinum Production Group, the company responsible for Triendl Reina, Wakatsuki Chinatsu, and Kinoshita Yukina. For 800 yen (about $10.50), an idol of your choice will prepare your cup ramen and talk to you during the three minute wait time. Customers in the video below say they enjoy it since it’s more wallet friendly than maid cafés and handshaking events.
