Tokyo’s newest bridge

Tokyo Gate Bridge which is constructed over Tokyo Bay will open to traffic on Feb 12.  It is 2,618 meter-long, which is 1.6 miles long.  Because the bridge looks like two dinosaurs facing off, it has the nickname of  “dinosaur bridge”

Also, another landmark is opening soon! The Tokyo Sky Tree in Sumida, and it is much taller than Tokyo Tower.  Tokyo Sky Tree will open to public in May.
