Japanese Day of the Cat is Today!

Yes, it is indeed Caturday today, or at least for the Japanese. Turns out today is a little-known holiday, called “Neko no hi”.  It was established in 1987 by a cat food company. It comes every year on February 22nd. This is because the Japanese think 2/22 sounds like a kitty meowing when you say it!

Here’s a video I found on Youtube that explains the day a little bit more. Happy Caturday!
