Tokyo “Baby Cafe” Gives Parents and Kids a Break from Each Other
If you’re in Tokyo and have a child seven years old or younger, this might be the best daycare option for you, depending on your situation.
Called the Baby Cafe, it’s an innovative way for kids and parents alike to spend some time apart from each other, enjoying the company of either fellow adults or toddlers.
You see, only parents with children up to seven years old or pregnant women are allowed in the Cafe. Once inside, kids can frolic with each other on the giant couches and chairs specially-sized for use by children and children only.
Parents can relax, sipping coffee and chatting with each other while monitoring their children via the many video screens in the cafe.
