Korean hip-hop boy band BTS, aka Bangtan Boys, after a successful tour across Japan has topped Oricon Weekly Chart with the band’s 2nd Japanese full album “Youth.”

The album debuted with 76 483 copies sold, making the record a highly awaited No.1 on the chart. Previously, the group hit No. 1 on Oricon Weekly Chart with their 4th Japanese single “For You.”

“Youth” consists of original Japanese track “Wishing on a star,” Japanese-lyrics versions of “Run,” “I Need You” and “Fire.” In total, the record includes 13 tracks. The album also ranked No.1 on the Daily Chart of Oricon on its release date.

For the present, Bangtan Boys are reportedly preparing for their comeback in Korea with the 2nd full-length album “Wings.” The group is also set to hold their 3rd fan meeting “BTS 3RD MUSTER [ARMY.ZIP ]” on November 12-13.
