I would love to share some amazing art works by Chiho Aoshima, a Japanese Artists (青島千穂) living in Tokyo.
I sew her work for the first time in person at MOCA, The Museum of Contemporary Art Los Angeles, a couple of years ago. I was stuck there for a hour watching her animation work over and over again. Since then, I am a big fan of her. You can read about it here. Her vision of Cityscape of Tokyo and Roppongi hills is simply amazing.
Chiho Aoshima is a Japanese pop artist and member of Takashi Murakami’s Kaikai Kiki Collective. Aoshima graduated from Department of Economics, Hosei University, Tokyo. She had a residency at Art Pace, San Antonio, Texas in 2006. (Wiki)
“My work feels like strands of my thoughts that have flown around the universe before coming back to materialize.” – Chiho Aoshima.
