“REVOLUTION,” a collaboration single between Crystal Kay and Amuro Namie, will be released on September 16, 2015.
Crystal Kay is a great fan of Amuro Namie, singing her songs at concerts and at karaoke. She brought up the idea of collaborating with Amuro, and Amuro approved, leading to this collaboration.
Like the title itself, “REVOLUTION” is a fight song for one’s “self revolution” to live positively and strongly. The EDM sound emphasizes such strengths. The song welcomed RYUJA, Matt Cab, and J-Hype as the composers.
The single will also include a remix by PKCZ, a unit formed by DJ MAKIDAI, VERBAL, and DJ DARUMA. Other numbers will include an upper-tune “Shooting Star,” as well as a self-cover of the 2002 hit “hard to say,” remixed into a TRAP style by DJ KENSHU.
Those who pre-order the single at a CD shop will receive a special A2-sized poster while supplies last.
The first-press edition will include a DVD with the music video of the single, along with making footage of the video.
