The Devil is a Part-Timer! (Hataraku Maou-sama) now on Netflix (US)
Taking a slice of life setting and giving it an overarching shounen plot results in a surprisingly funny anime. I’ll be honest, it took me a good three tries to get started on this series, but that was because I was impatient and got bored during the intro. But when I finally sat my ass down and watched it for whopping 3 more minutes the show instantly became charming and hilarious. Who would ever think that the devil could be such a swell guy?

However, I do have to admit that The Devil is A Part-Timer ended pretty weakly in comparison to its entirety as a show. This is because the manga is still ongoing with 11 volumes to date. Despite its lackluster ending I would not hesitate recommending this as a series.
It’s also available subbed and dubbed!
On a side note: a lot of the background settings in the show are actually based off a city in Japan where we stayed during our visit. It was quite shocking suddenly recognizing the police station in the background of an anime.
