I just spent a whole week at Disney World in Orlando, Florida! It was so much fun and everyday was MAGICAL and DREAMY! haha but what impressed me the most was the Japan Pavilion at Epcot’s World Showcase. Besides Japan there are Mexico, Germany, Norway, China, Canada, America, France, Italy, United Kingdom and Morocco.
At the Japan Pavilion, there was a taiko show that happened every few hours! Sorry, forgot to take a photo of that. Also there are restaurants and vendors. What was exciting for me was that there was a MITSUKOSHI! Mitsukoshi is a well known Japanese department store. Inside there were many items:
Check out the toys and figure section:
There is this area with pearl oysters. You can choose a shell, every oyster has a pearl inside (usually very small), and if you want they could make it into a necklace or an earring for you on the spot!
There also was a small section of anime museum next to Mitsukoshi explaining the history. It was very interesting!
If you ever go to Disney World make sure to check out Epcot’s Japan Pavilion! 😀
I love Disney World! When I was there, there was a woman in the Japan pavilion sculpting animal shaped sweets out of sugar syrup!
