Another strange soda idea has been brought to life in Japan and will be in stores 7/31. This time it’s coffee soda! Can’t wait to hear the Italians’ reaction to this one…
Here are its three qualities:
- Once you take a sip, you won’t be able to stop.
- The secret behind its deliciousness is the world’s first method of creating sparkling coffee. (With traditional recipes for carbonated drinks, the richness of espresso dies out).
- The chilled feeling you get from the packaging.
I think it’s more out there than Pepsi’s salty watermelon flavor, but it might not be so bad. I’ve had matcha (green tea) soda, and I actually enjoyed it, so I’ll have to give it a shot. I often fall into the dilemma of being thirsty and wanting a refreshing soda, but craving something with a bolder taste, like coffee, so this might be a perfect combination! Below is the first commercial for Espressoda staring Kenichi Endo, Ryo Kase, and Seiji Rokkaku.
