Wow. I read about this the other day, but didn’t bother checking it out…now that I have, it’s pretty darn impressive.
Anthony Le, a 25-year old man from Colorado, has taken it upon himself to design a slick-looking replica of the War Machine costume from Iron Man 2….complete with shiny armor and everything. Check it out:
Le does more than make Iron Man costumes out of boredom…he’s also heavily involved in charity work, is a P90 X instructor, and an aspiring filmmaker…according to this cool article over at Comic Book Movie.com. That article also has a pretty informative interview with Le, so read it if you’re interested in finding out more about this dude’s skill and what made him spend so much time crafting these suits.
I guess designing amazingly authentic-looking Iron Man replica suits is just a hobby…but it’s a pretty cool one, I gotta admit.
He also won the grand prize at Starfest’s costume contest recently…here’s a video of that event:
So yeah, this dude is a real-life version of Tony Stark, it would appear….I wouldn’t even have any idea of a clue how to attempt anything close to what he’s done, so I guess that either makes him really smart or me really dumb…hmm….
