Haagen-Dazs Japan released their vegetable flavored ice cream yesterday. The two flavors are Tomato-Cherry and Carrot-Orange. Both come in slightly smaller Haagen-Dazs single serving cups that are taller and thinner to give it a more healthy look. They contain less milk fat than all the other rich Haagen-Dazs flavors we love. The packaging is vibrant and appealing, but not enough for me to want to eat it.
They say the Tomato-Cherry tastes like tomato juice followed by a faint sweetness of cherry, while the Carrot-Orange tastes mostly of carrots with a hint of orange peels to mask the taste of soil that can sometimes accompany carrots.
