How About a Halloween Sushi Party?

Mizukan is a Japanese company that makes a variety of essential Japanese condiments, including the vinegar used to make sushi rice, so they came up with the idea of Halloween sushi candy – sushi that is rounded out and wrapped up to look like candy. It seems easy enough to make, and it’s pretty cute! So if you guys don’t have any plans for Halloween yet, why not an impromptu sushi party? Or give out sushi instead of candy!

Temari sushi is easy sushi you can make at home. Instead of trying to imitate the work of sushi chefs, you just ball up rice and put a piece of your favorite fish on top.

1. Lay a sheet of plastic wrap. 2. Put sushi rice in the middle. 3. Put your favorite neta on top. 4. Start wrapping the sushi away from you. 5. Twist and tie the ends. 6. Finished! Try making faces with seaweed!
