If you’re in the Los Angeles area and consider yourself a Hello Kitty fan, you won’t want to miss this. It’s the 35th anniversary of Hello Kitty this year, and thus the Royal/T cafe/retail shop/exhibit space in Culver City will host a Hello Kitty exhibit starting this Saturday October 23 and running through November 15.
The whole event is called Three Apples: An Exhibition Celebrating 35 Years of Hello Kitty.

This exhibit is called Three Apples, and as Sanrio’s website states, Three Apples is open to the public, free of charge and will feature an art exhibition, unique product and design displays, pop-up shop, and special events for fans of all ages – all celebrating Hello Kitty!
In addition to various Hello Kitty items chronicling the history of the franchise, there will also be limited edition art renderings created by more than 80 different artists, offering up unique spins on Hello Kitty. Called the Three Apples Art Show, their work is sure to impress.

Saturday 10/24 – Hello Kitty fan party and signing with Hello Kitty mama ( Yuko Yamaguchi) and Tokidoki.
Saturday 10/31 – Halloween Party
Sunday 11/1 – Hello Kitty Birthday Party
Saturday 11/7 – Meet the Artists Party
Friday 11/13 – Goth Party (dancing, DJ, live performance)
Saturday 11/14 – Hello Kitty Fashion Show Party (one-of-a-kind Hello Kitty-inspired fashion pieces, and more)
