Description

We are seeking a proactive team player with a strong passion for and understanding of Japanese pop culture, social media, and marketing. This person must be familiar with atleast 2 social media platforms and be able to translate the group’s goals and ideas into words, images, and videos. The ideal teammate has the ability to work in a fun but also fast-paced collaborative environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Please note in order to be eligible, candidates must be able to dedicate at least two days per week.

Responsibilities

– Research the latest trend happening in U.S and Japan Pop Culture

– Plan and execute social media strategies that are aligned with project goals

– Create and edit images and video clips that coincide with marketing campaigns

– Ensure all social media communications are taking place across digital platforms that include but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tumblr, Vine, Pinterest, etc.

– Engage in and encourage positive conversation with our awesome fans, building a strong, lasting relationship with the community

– Partner up with our media friends and key influencers to achieve collaborative goals

– Write on KawaiiKakkoiiSugoi.com and all associated platform

– Be self-motivated enough to work outside of the office when met with something valuable that may potentially further the website’s and channel’s growth

 

Required Minimum Skills

– A proficient understanding of atleast 2 social media platforms

– Effective and strong communication skills in both verbal and written form

– Must be enthusiastic, creative, flexible, and willing to face challenges and increased responsibilities.

– Highly self-motivated to perform, set priorities, and meet deadlines

 

Preferred but not required

– Proficient in reading and writing in Japanese

– Graphic Design, Video Editing, Photography, Videography experience

– Previous marketing experience

– Unpaid / College Credit

– Must be 18 years or older

– Must provide work availability

– Must provide own transportation to/from work

– Must provide own laptop and smartphone

– Flexible with shift changes to accommodate projects and deadlines.

Assistant Video Editor

Are you interested in putting together short form videos and have a knack for pop culture references? If you are and you have a basic knowledge in Adobe Premiere Pro, then we want you on Team KKS!

Description

We are seeking a proactive team player with a strong passion for and understanding of Japanese pop culture and video editing with Premiere Pro. This person must be able to translate the group’s goals and ideas into videos or gifs and deliver the medium in a timely fashion to the team for use. The ideal teammate has the ability to work in a fun but also fast-paced collaborative environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously. Please note in order to be eligible, candidates must be able to dedicate at least three days per week, with two being in-office, and one working remotely.

Responsibilities including but not limited to:

– Obtaining materials & sources from teammates for editing

– Delivering the finish products to teammate or directly upload to necessary social media platforms

– Prepare and organize incoming footage, contents, and workflows

– Pre-edit long form videos for editors

– Organize previous contents and make them easily accessible for teammates to obtain and use

– Ensure all annotations on YouTube are correctly placed and linked
