If you own an iPad, you might want to pay the $7.99 for the Samurai Art – The Hosokawa Family Eisei Bunko Collection app.
It lets you view all sorts of ancient pieces of art on your iPad, in easy-to-navigate digital format. You can, for example, feast your eyes on a REALLY old Japanese scroll, as demonstrated in the video below.
The Japanese version of the app has been available for a while, but English and French versions hit the App Store yesterday.

It looks like a great tool to view ancient works of art without having to actually go to an art museum, doesn’t it?
