J Dilla’s ‘Jay Love Japan’ To Be Re-Released

May 6th will bless us with the re-release of 2007’s ‘Jay Love Japan‘!  ‘Jay Love Japan‘ poses as the third post-humous album release for the late great Dilla who passed away in 2006 from lupus-related health complications.  The re-release includes 2 new tracks titled “Sun In My Face” and “The Look” in CD and Vinyl as well as a deluxe edition that contains both the CD and Vinyl, a bonus 7-inch colored flex-disc along with a limited edition t-shirt.

Japan was apparently one of J Dilla’s favorite tour spots and ‘Jay Love Japan‘ opens our ears to Dilla’s interpretation of the land of the Rising Sun!

J Dilla has been often coined as “one of the music industry’s most influential Hip Hop artists” and is noted for his works with A Tribe Called Quest, De La Soul, Busta Rhymes, Erykah Badu, and The Roots.  Listen up millennials!  Dilla can also be heard in the works of “today’s music industry influencers” such as Drake.  You can vibe to some Dilla on Drake’s mixtape days on, Comeback Season‘s “Where To Now” while pre-ordering ‘Jay Love Japan’ by clicking the link below!
