Halloween is coming up and there’s nothing like a fun Pokémon treat to start the month! Just in time for the month of October, Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield are offering mystery gifts for players.
Players can now collect Ash’s very own Pikachu wearing various caps from all his adventures. Pikachus collected will be wearing caps Ash has worn in the Kanto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos, and Alola region. The Partner cap worn by Ash in Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You! and the World Coronation Series cap in recent adventures, Pokemon Journeys, will also be available on our cute electric rodent.
Mystery gifts can be acquired in-game by redeeming codes in Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield’s player menu. Players must be connected to the internet when inputting codes.
There are 8 variations of Ash’s Pikachu available.

Ash’s Pikachu will be all yours and equipped with his very own cap once you re-enter the game. You can even take a look at the original trainer of your new Pikachu and see for yourself that he is indeed from Ash himself, and just like in the original animated series, Ash’s Pikachu does not evolve.
All codes must be redeemed by 6:59 a.m. PST on November 30, 2020, so don’t wait or you’ll miss out!
