Kyoto Animation’s Sound! Euphonium’s film, “Sound! Euphonium the Movie: Welcome to the Kitauji High School Brass Band” hit the theaters in Japan on April 23rd.
Sound! Euphonium is based on a light novel written by Ayano Takeda and was aired in April to June 2015. The story is about a Kitauji High School Brass Band aiming towards National Competition with members’ struggling with their relationships, future and dream.
This movie is the compilation film of the TV anime series.
Voice actors and director appeared at Shinjuku Piccadilly Theater on the first day of screening and they revealed that season 2 will premier in October this year as well.
The second season will be a continuous story after the first season and they will depict each characters’ stories along with their brass band activity even more deeply.
