the land that Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli must challenge is home to the area

that is feared as the “Devil’s Palm.” As ominous incidents begin to unfold, they
are forced to realize that this race is far more than a mere competition.
The two press forward into the 2nd STAGE of the 9 STAGES, where countless
hidden motives collide.

The opening theme song is “SPIN” by Kroi, the original song written for STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure. The cover features special exclusive artwork of Johnny Joestar.

Comment from Kroi

We are Kroi, and we had the honor of writing and performing the opening theme song for STEEL BALL RUN JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure.

When we first received the offer, we were beyond excited. From that moment on, we immersed ourselves in the challenge of translating the world of STEEL BALL RUN and its epic transcontinental race across North America into music.

Over the years, we’ve continually explored sounds inspired by the imagery of sandy landscapes, and we felt that the musical sensibilities we developed through that journey were a perfect fit for this project.

Building on soundscapes reminiscent of Ennio Morricone and The Ventures, evoking the spirit of classic Westerns, we crafted this song by blending together the many musical influences we’ve embraced over the years, including funk, soul, and hip-hop.

What has always fascinated us about JoJo is its truly unique world, where so many different cultures, ideas, and artistic influences come together to create something unlike anything else. In many ways, we feel a special connection to that creative spirit.

We are truly honored to have been part of such an incredible work.

We hope you’ll enjoy our song “SPIN” just as much as the anime itself, and experience both to the fullest.

Kroi

Meet Kroi, the Japanese quintet that artfully blends a colorful assortment of music genres, including R&B, funk, soul, rock, and hip-hop. Their name, ‘Kroi,’ translates to ‘black’ in Japanese, reflecting their unique hybrid sound: if music genres were colors, their fusion would inevitably result in ‘black.’
As they simultaneously take over major music festivals locally (Summer Sonic ’23, Fuji Rock ’22) and internationally (SXSW 2024, City Flow Music Festival, Busan Rock Festival, Taipei The Wall), Kroi continues to push conventional boundaries, inviting listeners worldwide into their vibrant, ever-expanding universe of sound and creativity.
Their genre-bending sound has also led them into the world of anime, with three opening theme songs already under their belt and more on the horizon.
Now set to headline arenas in 2026, Kroi is entering a bold new chapter as one of Japan’s most exciting live acts.

The ending theme song is “Shinukaikiruka” by Yuki Chiba. This would be the first time for Chiba to write a new original song exclusively for a series.

Yuki Chiba

With lyrics that read like a personal diary, an inimitable flow, and an ability to jump across genres, Yuki Chiba’s music has a raw honesty and natural flawlessness that continues to inspire fans worldwide. His first song under the name Yuki Chiba was “Team Tomodachi” (Released February 2024), which became a viral sensation. In June 2024, his collaboration with Megan Thee Stallion, “Mamushi,” exploded. The song went #1 on the Rhythmic Airplay Chart and Yuki’s performance of it at the VMAs made him the first Japanese artist to grace the Music Video Award’s stage. From then, within the span of about 6 months, Chiba released a staggering 3 albums; “STAR”, “Okumanchoja” (Millionaire), and “Eien” (Eternity), as well as a collaboration with creative maven, Stillz, entitled “separated at birth.” In July 2025, Yuki sold-out the Budokan Arena in Tokyo for a triumphant hometown show. He was Japanese Rolling Stone’s August 2025 cover star. Furthermore, he penned the official anthem for the popular Riot Games’ franchise VALORANT, and continues to release collaborative music with artists such as Murda Beatz, Feid, and Big Sean. In 2026, Yuki made his headline touring debuts in Australia and Europe and released the massively popular Japanese-Korean anthem, “Annyeonghaseyo,” which has over 300,000 creates on Tiktok alone. Aside from his musical endeavors, he also contributes columns for TV and print and oversees his massively successful clothing brand, Dogs.
