World’s First Kit Kat specialty store opens in Japan
At the Seibu Department Store in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, the world’s first Kit Kat “Chocolatory” opened. This is an entire store dedicated to Kit Kat products, perfect for Kit Kat connoisseurs seeking a particular flavor that they couldn’t normally get their hands on.
Inside the store is your typical chocolate store but with a few fixings within to make it feel a little more special. There’s a small section dedicated to the brief history of Kit Kat, Kit Kat-themed décor, and even some really expensive Kit Kat is put on sale (known as the “Sublime Bitter” which costs $3 USD a piece and $32 USD for a box of ten).
The Kit Kat Chocolatory is the perfect place for Kit Kat aficionados and chocolate lovers alike. It may even become a perfect, future tourist spot; small enough to not feel overwhelmed and interesting enough to attract people.
