Death Note Meets Namie Amuro

Exciting news for both Death Note and Namie Amuro fans!  Not only do Death Note fans get to anticipate the film-version of their favorite anime but this film-version also features 2 singles from Japanese Pop legend, Namie Amuro.

Namie will provide the theme song for “Death Note: Light Up The New World” titled, “Dear Diary,” which is said to be a ballad track featuring melancholy tones while also providing the song “Fighters”, said to have a more aggressive approach, purposely to represent the point of view of Death Note heroine character, Misa Amane.

Death Note: Light Up The New World will be released via Warner Brothers in Japan on October 29th with previous live-action Death Note films that featured songs from American artists such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Lenny Kravitz.
