Doraemon n’s newest movie, “Movie Doraemon Nobita’s Antarctic Kachi Kochi Adventure” will be released at the movie theaters nationwide from Saturday, March 4, 2017.
This is the 37th movie of the “Movie Doraemon” series which first work was released in 1980.
“Movie Doraemon New · Nobita’s birth” that was released in March 2016 made 41.2 million yen box office sales.
Set in the Antarctica, this work is full of SF (sukoshi fushigi) elements for which Fujiko F. Fujio is famous.
Nobita, Doraemon and others who would like to escape from the heat of midsummer go to the huge iceberg floating in the South Pacific.
The adventure revolves over a massive closed ancient city under the Iceberg.

The image board poster which picked up an impressive scene in the play is drawn with a soft touch.

Director is Atsushi Takahashi who made a director debut in ‘Blue Exorcist – The Movie Version’ (2012) after the assistant director of “Spirited Away” (2001).
Also, the figure skaters, Nobunari Oda and Mai Asada have challenged the first time as a guest voice actor of the movie.
They took the roles of each one in the bipedal animal “Pao Pao” which is similar to the elephant appearing in the movie.
In addition, Doraemon fan comedian, Savanna Takahashi Shigeo, and Masumi Yagi challenged voice actors.

Also, “Doraemon KACHI KOCHI Café” has been opened in Tokyo Solamachi from Saturday, February 4, 2017 for
celebrating the release of the movie.
