The hit romantic comedy “Kirio Fan Club” is coming to streaming in 2026! The main casts are Nene Hieda as Aimi, Shion Wakayama as Nami, and Gakuto Kajiwara as Kirio. A teaser visual and trailer have been released, giving a first glimpse into the hilarious and heartfelt world of this one-sided love story.
Based on the manga by Chikyu no Osakana Ponchan, which ran from 2022–2024 in COMIC Ryuel (Jitsugyo no Nihon Sha), “Kirio Fan Club” follows high school girls Aimi Miyoshi and Nami Sometani as they obsess over their classmate Kirio.
The manga earned Top 10 rankings in “Kono Manga ga Sugoi!” for two consecutive years and was adapted into a live-action drama in April 2025 in Japan.
The anime is produced by SATELIGHT, with Sou Toyama as director, Aya Satsuki handling series composition and script, and Nami Hayashi responsible for animation character design.
The teaser visual shows Aimi and Nami secretly thinking about Kirio in a sunlit classroom, with playful details from the manga written on the blackboard. The teaser trailer features newly recorded lines and showcases the girls’ endless pursuit of Kirio in a humorous and relatable way.
