It’s still recent that μ’s had their final concert at Tokyo Dome two months ago… Now Love Live!’s new project, Love Live! Sunshine!! is about to create another sensation all over the world!
The official site revealed Love Live! Sunshine!!’s promotional videos on Lantis YouTube account today.
From the trailer, it seems that a main character, Chika Takami is starting her own school idol group, Aqours at Uranohoshi Girls Academy after she got inspired by μ’s, a school idol group from Love Live!. A transfer student, Riko Sakurauchi came to Uranohoshi Girls Academy from Otonokizaka Academy where μ’s was born at, so there might be a connection between the original Love Live! and Love Live! Sunshine!!. If we are lucky, we might be able to catch μ’s or other characters from the original Love Live! in this new series.
Love Live! Sunshine!! will premiere on TV on July 2nd, 2016 in Japan and it will be streamed worldwide simultaneously. Six members of Aqours are invited to Anime Expo in Los Angeles as a Guest of the Honor as well.
