Kanae, a virtual YouTuber who has gained popularity among fans through game streaming, boasting 1.21 million YouTube subscribers and over 400 million total YouTube views, has been chosen to perform the opening theme song for the TV anime Overtake!, scheduled to air in October 2023. This marks Kanae’s first collaboration with a TV anime.

Overtake! is an original TV anime that focuses on the theme of F4 (Formula Four) motorsports. The story revolves around the high school racer Haruka and freelance photographer Kouya, showcasing the passion and excitement of motorsports, and the personal struggles and dilemmas of the characters.
With direction by Ei Aoki, original character design by Takako Shimura, and character design by Masako Matsumoto, the main staff of Aldnoah.Zero has reunited to create this high-quality animation by TROYCA.
