A live-action adaptation of the popular “Oshi no Ko” (【推しの子】), based on the original work of author Aka Akasaka (赤坂 アカ) and illustrator Mengo Yokoyari (横槍 メンゴ), has officially been announced. The television drama series, expected for the winter of 2024, will be distributed worldwide exclusively on Amazon’s Prime Video, while the theatrical release in Japan will be distributed by Toei.





Dr. Goro is reborn as the son of his favorite pop idol, the young rising star, Ai Hoshino. Through a series of unfortunate events, he and his twin sister must navigate the entertainment world to get to the truth surrounding the mysterious Ai. Oshi no Ko is written by Aka Akasaka and illustrated by Mengo Yokoyari. The series is currently published in Weekly Young Jump in Japan, while an English translated version is released digitally by Shueisha’s MANGA Plus. The anime is available on streaming service HIDIVE.
