Football Fans Get Front Row Seat as Characters From ONE PIECE Take Over Video Screens, Entertaining More Than 70,000 Fans

On Dec. 3, 2023, the Los Angeles Rams and iconic anime ONE PIECE joined forces for an unprecedented one-day collaboration event, ‘LOS ANGELES RAMS AND ONE PIECE GAME Collaboration DAY,’ welcoming and captivating over 70,000 football fans and devoted ONE PIECE fans alike.
This was the first time that characters from a Japanese IP appeared at a Rams game, and it is one of the largest-scale collaboration events in ONE PIECE history.
The game ended in a resounding victory for the Los Angeles Rams, marked by a score of 36 -19.

ONE PIECE took over TV monitors and digital signage throughout the building including the 360° double-sided Infinity Screen installed in the center of the stadium
Popular ONE PIECE characters appeared one after another on LED ribbons within the stadium and on TV monitors and digital signage. On the iconic Infinity Screen, an original and special one-minute video showcasing the world of ONE PIECE was shown between quarters, to which the crowd erupted in excited cheers. In addition, audience members were delighted by surprises such as an AR SNAP lens projecting ‘WANTED’ onto their faces when they were captured on screens. Fans struck various poses, spreading the hype widely on social media platforms.

Limited items, such as ONE PIECE special edition rally towels, given out to fans at the stadium
On the day of the event, limited edition Los Angeles Rams and ONE PIECE rally towels were given out to fans upon entry. The stands became a sea of blue towels with fans waving them for every touchdown and third down. In addition, ONE PIECE clear bags printed with illustrations from the “ONE PIECE Bounty Rush” and “ONE PIECE Card Game” mobile games were also given to visitors. Fans were delighted to receive these exclusive items, prepared by Bandai Namco Entertainment as a special gift to commemorate the day.
