TV Asahi is thrilled to announce the award-winning The Dangers in My Heart Japanese theatrical release is announced for February 13, 2026 (Friday)! The international release will be revealed at a later date.
TV Asahi and HIDIVE also presented The Dangers in My Heart movie sneak peek at Anime Expo 2025 on July 4, 2025. Special guests from Japan appeared including chief director Hiroaki Akagi and producers Yosuke Sakurai and Kazuki Endo!
To commemorate the announcement, a new teaser visual featured Kyotaro and Anna was released along with a brand new teaser PV featuring new animation. The voice actors of Kyotaro Ichikawa and Anna Yamada—Shun Horie and Hina Yomiya, respectively— have shared comments to fans:

Synopsis
The Dangers in My Heart
Fascinated by the macabre, Kyotaro fantasizes about acting on his twisted thoughts to the detriment of his classmates. His heart was dark until an encounter with Anna lit a spark within it in a classic tale of boy meets girl.
