Revamped Taiko no Tatsujin RPG Adventure Announced

Japan’s favorite drumming game brings our favorite little taiko drums, Don Wada and Katsu Wada, back! Nintendo just recently announced the game will be showcasing two musical RPG adventures bundled in one.
Rhythmic Adventure 1 and Rhythmic Adventure 2 includes the games Don and Katsu’s Space-time Adventure and Dokodon! Mystery Adventure which were originally only accessible to Japan’s region. Now, we finally have the chance to travel with Don-chan and Katsu-chan on their journey against evil.

Both games in the new adventure pack will not feature any multiplayer-related play modes, so if you’re looking for a multiplayer experience, definitely get the previous Nintendo Switch release Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun! (launched in 2018) that can support up to four players. 

With the previous Nintendo Switch release of Taiko no Tatsujin: Drum ‘n’ Fun!, the game did introduce the new and fun way to swing the Joy-Con controllers as if we’re actually playing in the arcade playing the actual drum. This advancement in Nintendo’s portable home console has created an interactive and updated gameplay for these two previous 3DS adventures. The game also allows for touch screenplay and the use of gamepad buttons, like previous Taiko no Tatsujin games.

We can of course play the usual Taiko Game Mode as well! Since the games were originally Japan-only releases, we can now finally play songs from popular bands such as KANA-BOON and their big hit “Nai Mono Nedari”.

Even one of our favorite anime tear jerkers Your Lie in April’s “Hikaru Nara” by Goose House will be at our hands.

With an updated song list of over 130 songs, the anime song of the year “Gurenge” by LiSA from the anime Kimetsu no Yaiba will also be included! 

So mark your calendars and get ready because this new bundle of adventure will be available in Winter 2020!
