The MC segments were entertaining as Travis Japan engaged the crowd with fun calls and responses. Each member took a special moment to greet the audience in both English and Japanese. Notably, Kaito “Machu” Matsukura’s self-introduction has now become a trademark call, with the audience enthusiastically responding, “Machu Picchu!”

Travis Japan also surprised fans by performing one of their newest songs, “99 Percent.” This high-energy dance number displayed the group’s synchronized dance, serving as the theme song for the romantic comedy drama, “The Date of Marriage,” starring group member, Genta “G” Matsuda.

Of course, the concert wouldn’t be complete without their signature song, “My Dreamy Hollywood”! Originally titled “Yume no Hollywood,” this song is Travis Japan’s first original song and holds a special place in their history. They translated the lyrics into English and performed it on America’s Got Talent, where they received a standing ovation from the entire audience and the judges. The elegant high kicks, tap dance-like choreography, dazzling costumes, everything was dedicated to this iconic song.

Despite the late-night set, the fans remained enthusiastic until the very last moment when Travis Japan left the stage. It was an amazing comeback show and a memorable debut anniversary celebration. On the 27th, Tamuken, a famous Japanese comedian living in Los Angeles even surprised the group with a cake to celebrate their anniversary, creating an unforgettable moment for all.

Travis Japan also had exciting news to share – their first album, “Road to A,” is set to release on December 20, followed by a concert tour titled “Travis Japan Concert Tour 2024 Road to Authenticity,” starting on January 4, 2024. A group that is active both in Japan and globally is a rare gem in the Japanese music scene. We eagerly anticipate Travis Japan’s growth as an artist and can’t wait to see what the future holds for this remarkable group. Keep your eyes on them, their journey has just started!
