To be honest, I am not a big listener of J-Pop, but I do have a special place in my heart for music from the 80’s. When my Japanese friend sang “Heart on Wave” by Wink at karaoke, I fell in love with the synthesizers, neon clothing, and those sweet dance movies. Now I have to sing the song every time I go to karaoke. I have their greatest hits album, but Heart on Wave is definitely their best song.
