Alternative hybrid rock band ARKTA will hold their first-ever solo headline performance, “ARKTA First Oneman Live -RESONATE-,” on Sunday, August 23, 2026 at Shibuya Club Malcolm, Tokyo.
This landmark performance marks ARKTA’s 6th anniversary and represents a pivotal moment in the duo’s career serving both as a culmination of their journey so far and the beginning of a new chapter.
The title “RESONATE” reflects the concept of the show: a night where sound becomes connection, and music resonates across borders, emotions, and experience.
ARKTA is a hybrid rock project formed by Tak (Los Angeles) and kenken (Tokyo), known for blending international influences with emotionally driven alternative rock. Their work spans across geographic and genre boundaries, built on a creative approach that emphasizes intensity, contrast, and emotional expression.
The upcoming show will be the duo’s first standalone concert, following six years of collaborative evolution across distance, time zones, and global creative production.
Tickets will go on sale starting April 28, 2026 at 7:00PM (JST).
In parallel with this announcement, ARKTA will also appear at “THE CHiRAL NIGHT fall into ‘Slow Damage’” on August 22, 2026 at Omiya Sonic City, a major live event related to the Slow Damage game universe, for which ARKTA previously contributed music.
Additionally, ARKTA’s music continues to be featured in the ongoing “CHiRAL LIVE 2022 × Slow Damage” MV karaoke campaign at Karaoke Pasela, including two unreleased collaborative tracks presented as part of a special video experience.

ARKTA
ARKTA is an international hybrid rock duo formed by Tak (vocals) from Los Angeles and kenken (vocals/producer) from Tokyo. Drawing on nu-metal and emo influences, their sound blends powerful melodies with raw emotional storytelling. Tak is also known as the ring announcer for New Japan Pro-Wrestling (NJPW STRONG) and the screamer for North American band Quietude, while kenken is a former member of metalcore band DELHEZI and has performed with Japan’s loud rock outfit Another Story. Their distinctive musical style led to their involvement in the 2021 worldwide release of the Nitro CHiRAL visual novel Slow Damage, for which they contributed the tracks “Keep Me Alive” and “Damaging You.”
ARKTA’s live presence has been key to their growing reputation. Their debut at CHiRAL LIVE 2022 × Slow Damage in Tokyo was a sold-out success, followed by a standout performance at Rising Japan Fest 2023 in Los Angeles, where they shared the stage with Def Tech. In 2024, they released their first EP From Where The City Lights Burn, a self-produced project that demonstrated their DIY ethos and sonic evolution, led by the single “The Lily.” The EP was entirely created by the band, showcasing their artistic independence and strong creative chemistry.
Following a successful Japan tour in July and November 2024, ARKTA continued to expand their sound with the release of the singles “DIVE” and “Seraphim,” both written with live audiences in mind and marking a bold step forward in their musical direction. Building on this momentum, the duo released their 2nd EP As Oneself, a record centered on themes of identity, conflict, and resilience.
In support of the release, ARKTA embarked on their Japan Tour 2025, performing across the country and appearing at major festivals including TOKYO CALLING, In The Family Fest, and SUPER ROCK CITY HIROSHIMA DX, further solidifying their presence in the live scene.
With a growing global fanbase and a fearless approach to their craft, ARKTA is rapidly emerging as one of the most exciting rock acts to watch.
