Rubik’s Cubes are maddening enough, but now you can lock your loose change inside one and have to struggle with the color-coded headache box in order to get it out.
I’m not a math whiz, so I can’t ever figure out these darn things. I saw a friend of mine (a math/science wizard, no less) crack the code within ten minutes or so, so I guess piggy banks like this are just meant to frustrate the owner.
Or, on the other hand, maybe it will be more effective than most banks, if children are unable to remove their money and go waste it on some video game or trinket or phone charm or something unnecessary like that.
In that sense, this is a good idea, but personally it would probably drive me up the wall.
