During the MAPPA x Crunchyroll! panel at Anime Expo in Los Angeles on Sunday, July 2, fans were treated to an exciting sneak peek of the highly anticipated Attack on Titan Final Season THE FINAL CHAPTERS Special 2. The trailer, which made its world debut, left viewers eager for more as they await its release later this fall.

Based on the critically acclaimed manga Attack on Titan, created by Hajime Isayama and published by Kodansha, the series has garnered immense popularity worldwide, with over 100 million volumes sold to date. The Final Season continues to captivate audiences with its intense storytelling and breathtaking animation.

Directed by Yuichiro Hayashi, known for his work on Dorohedoro and Kakegurui, and produced by studio MAPPA, renowned for their exceptional work on JUJUTSU KAISEN, Chainsaw Man, VINLAND SAGA SEASON 2, and Hell’s Paradise, the Final Season promises to be a thrilling conclusion to the epic tale.

Joining the creative team are Hiroshi Seko, responsible for the series composition on Chainsaw Man and Mob Psycho 100, and Tomohiro Kishi, who lends his talent as the character designer, previously known for his work on Dorohedoro. Daisuke Niinuma and Manabu Akita take on the roles of chief animation directors, bringing their expertise from projects such as DAYS and Kakegurui. Kuniaki Nemoto handles art direction, while Masato Yoshitake oversees editing, both having worked on notable titles like Chainsaw Man and Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. The music for the series is composed by KOHTA YAMAMOTO and Hiroyuki Sawano, the latter of whom is recognized for his contributions to Blue Exorcist and Kill la Kill.
