Renowned voice actor Aya Hirano and accomplished actor Masashi Taniguchi have recently exchanged vows. This power-packed duo recently shared the stage as Makima (Aya) and Kishibe (Masashi) in the 2023 stage play “Chainsaw Man.”

Announcing their marriage on X (formerly Twitter) on January 3rd, Aya and Masashi expressed their heartfelt sentiments. “We will continue to be grateful and redouble our efforts as performers. We humbly ask for your continued guidance and support,” they conveyed.

Acknowledging the challenging times since the new year, they extended their sympathies and pledged their utmost efforts to contribute positively. “Since the new year, we have witnessed heart-wrenching events. Alongside offering our heartfelt sympathies, we will strive to contribute in any way we can. We sincerely pray for everyone’s well-being and happiness.”

Aya, known for her roles as Haruhi Suzumiya in “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya” and Konata Izumi in “Lucky Star,” has also showcased her talent in recent years through stage plays.

Masashi debuted as Nagare Tatsumi/GoBlue in the Super Sentai seriesGoGoFive.” His extensive repertoire includes appearances in “Kamen Rider Saber” as Bahato/Kamen Rider Falchion,Kamen Rider Amazons” as Jin Takayama/Kamen Rider Amazon Alpha, “Ultraman Decker” as Decker Asami/Ultraman Decker within the Ultraman series. Notably, he holds the distinction of becoming the second person in history, and the first in a TV series, to transform in the three major tokusatsu series, following Kane Kosugi.
