On April 10th, Prime Minister Fumio Kishida made a historic visit to the United States as a state guest, marking the first such visit in nine years. The highlight of his visit was his attendance at an exclusive dinner hosted by President Biden and his wife at the White House.

Among the distinguished guests at the dinner were Ayase and Ikura from the Japanese pop music duo YOASOBI. YOASOBI has captured the hearts of fans worldwide with their hit song “Idol.” Ikura made a stylish appearance in a striking black dress, while Ayase opted for a classic tuxedo, adding a touch of glamour to the event.

Other guests from Japan included notable figures such as retired wheelchair tennis champion Shingo Kunieda, astronaut Akahiko Hoshide, SoftBank CEO Masayoshi Son, and Rakuten chairman Hiroshi Mikitani.

From the American side, the guest list boasted influential personalities, including actor Robert De Niro, former President Bill Clinton and his wife Hillary, Apple CEO Tim Cook, and Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos.

Additionally, there was a special performance by acclaimed singer Paul Simon at the dinner.
